Today we will do a virtual investigation that focuses on the effect of temperature on the rate (speed) of chemical reactions. Using a virtual chemistry laboratory, you will investigate how variations in temperature will affect the reaction rates of antacid tablets in water. Complete repeated trials,manipulating temperature to test and time the reaction rate with a controlled quantity of antacid. You will then record the results in a data table before and generate a graph and interpret their findings. This lab does not have a procedure you and your lab partner will design and complete the experiment with the tools provided to you in the virtual lab.
