Do Now: You will have 20 minutes to complete the do now Earth Science Review: be prepared to justify your answers during our brief Socratic discussion that follows.
STEP 1: Yesterday I gave you time to collect data by running tests to develop the evidence you would need to develop and support your claim. I had some groups work diligently on the task and others not so much in an effort to ensure that we are using time wisely and identify the students who were efficient we will do a brief open notes assignment that will go in as a classwork grade to ensure those students who worked on their assignments receive credit. Clear your desk of all items except for your data tables from yesterday's activity.
Step 2: You will spend the rest of class preparing for the presentations tomorrow and writing your argumentative statements. Each group will have 3 minutes to present their claim and supporting data found from the test ran. Use the rubrics below to assist you in your writing and planning.
