Students will have 10 minutes to complete the Do Now activity
Today we will learn more about the star classification system
Last class we looked at the relationship between temperature and color. Today we will explore the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram that illustrates the relationship that exists between the average surface temperature of stars and their absolute magnitude (luminosity)
Students can review this relationship by completing the HR worksheet below
Homework: Students are to complete the lab report and HR worksheet for homework if they did not complete it in class.
