KWBAT Deconstruct Scientific Experimentation into steps of the scientific method.

Step 1: An important skill that we have to learn as a scientist is to be able to identify the different steps of an scientific experiment and analyze the various parts to ensure that the experiement is testing the desired hypothesis. This an imporant skill in experiemental design. Today we will practice identifying the parts of the scientific method in various scenarios. Quietly watch the video below and review identifying variables in an experiment

STEP 2: As a class we will work in teams to identify the parts of a scientific experiment. We will identify the Problem, testable question, variables, constants, and hypothesis in an experiment. Follow along with the powerpoint as Mr. Keys goes over each scenario on the board.

STEP3: Complete the Experimental Design Starter Worksheet in Google Classroom

STEP 4: Complete the Exit Ticket

Once you finish stand on your chair and do the Nae Nae!!!!
